Cain is the founder and Principal Designer of Salt Air Design Studio. Her journey began in the hospitality industry managing fine dining restaurants. The beautiful interiors she worked in kindled a passion for design and soon after she earned her Bachelor’s in Interior Architecture. Her experience in design has spanned over 12 years. First, working for 2 nationally recognized model home firms designing everything from condos to multi-million dollar homes across the country. She then honed her skills in residential design, working with homeowners and contractors designing, and managing projects from conception, construction to installation.
Her approach to design is methodical, highly organized, always with the end user in mind. She is obsessed with the details and knows good communication always leads to successful outcomes. Cain prides herself on giving a high level of service and understands how to bring ideas on paper to real life. She believes design is not just ideas, it's in the execution.
At Salt Air Design Studio she brings her practical experience, construction, and design industry knowledge along with highly attuned service skills to provide an incomparable design experience to her clients.

When Cain is not on job sites or doing her own home improvement projects she is traveling the world in search of the perfect Neapolitan pizza with her partner, Steve. They live in Clairemont with their 2 dachshunds, Lucy and Blue.
